Questions authors ask
+Do I need to have finished the book?
No. For non-fiction and exam books a synopsis, a chapter plan and two sample chapters are enough. For fiction we prefer a complete draft.
+Do you charge authors?
No. We are a traditional publisher: we pay for editing, design, printing and distribution, and pay you a royalty on every copy sold.
+How are royalties calculated and paid?
Your contract fixes the rate and whether it is on MRP or on what we receive. Statements are issued every quarter, and your author dashboard shows sales and royalty as they happen.
+Where will my book be sold?
On our website, Amazon and Flipkart, and through bookshops, coaching institutes and libraries we supply directly.
+What will I see as an author?
A private login showing copies sold on each channel, month by month, your royalty statements, every marketing activity done for your book, and how comparable books are performing.
